FaithTalk - A Podcast about Religion (Ep. ## - Taoism)
Hosted by Kai Natividad, Ma. Shanea Madla, and Mary Jessa Ramoza. Assisted by Gerald Travis Angeles. Edited by me. Made for HUMSS1.
A podcast dedicated to discussing the ins and outs of religions worldwide. Episode was focused on Taoism, specifically Wu Wei. Our task for this was to create a video podcast discussing an assigned religion, with freedom to choose topics related. It was fun editing this, and it turned out pretty well, I'd say.

M&M presents... John J. Carroll and Socioeconomics
Co-written and co-starring Raphael Mahipus. Edited by me. Made for HUMSS2.
A video detailing the life of and important contributions by Fr. John J. Carroll S.J., a jesuit priest who had taken an interest in the Philippines and entrepreneurship. Most information discussed are from Carroll's book, "Filipino Entrepreneurship and Manufacturing." Not much to say about this one, though it was very cleanly edited. It was also fascinating learning so much about a man I could never meet in such a short time.

The Perfect Poem (Draft) or "Empty-handed"
Made for HUMSS3.
I struggled a lot trying to figure out what to write for this. Performing a poem in front of the entire class was something I knew I'd enjoy, but it'd feel wrong doing that with a poem I wasn't exactly passionate about. And it took me a while to really nail it down until, one day, while I was walking, I thought of a poem that is still being worked on being the poem I performed---with all the mistakes and crossed-out lines and all that. And I wrote it in about a night, consistently adjusting every coming night before the day came. It was worth it.

The Case of Alex Lihim
Featuring Lia Leuterio, Ely Tolentino, and Melchezidek Magallanes. Written and edited by me. Made for HUMSS3.
A story about a missing student, and the people who knew them once. When the big one hit, I had a feeling we wouldn't be able to properly execute our original plan of a short film for Creative Writing, but when it was re-tooled into simply making your own short film, I knew I had to do something scary, especially with the mockumentary prompt our teacher suggested. Also, despite it supposedly being a solo project, it was only specified we couldn't work with classmates. I asked my friends to be a part of this and I'm very glad they were up to it. This is probably my favorite of the short videos I've made.

Case Study on Emma (16)
Made for HUMSS4.
A study aiming to address the problems Emma is facing regarding her anxiety. I'm no stranger to comforting people and being some sort of pseudo-therapist, so I felt confident to tackle HUMSS4. Turns out (and I really shouldn't have been surprised), counseling is way more complicated than meets the eye. But I'm glad I got to learn that before running face-first into it with no knowledge, because now I know a lot more regarding that topic. Hopefully one day I can do this professionally. Side note, the link includes a video of me writing the study itself. Just to make it clear that I wrote it.

The History of the Philippine Government presented in novel format
Made for HUMSS5.
A visual timeline of the Philippine government's history, based on discussions from HUMSS5 sessions. Normally people use Canva for stuff like this, but at the time I felt like I couldn't do any good designs for this specific topic. I decided to do it in the style of a novel because it feels more concrete, more legislative in a sense. It's certainly not the best, but I'm still happy with how it turned out.

the sun
Made for HUMSS6.
A story about how I lost myself. Creative Non-fiction has always been an interesting subject to me---I've never really been interested in it, but in truth I don't think I properly understood the nuances it had until I started putting words on paper. I really stretched the prompt of "Coming of Age" with this, but in truth, I've wanted to write about this chapter of my life for so long, just so I could get it out there, I suppose. It's not as long as I'd like it to be, but to say I'm not proud of it would be a lie.

Nostalgia - A Trend Analysis
Made for HUMSS7.
An analysis of the trend, common in Generation Z, of revisiting remnants of eras gone by (e.g. the 90s, cassettes, Frutiger Aero) and why the trend might possibly be so common. I've witnessed this trend slowly grow more and more prominent the longer I scrounge the internet, and this subject felt like a good place to analyze why it's so prevalent, especially with Gen Z, who might not have been around for the peak of said eras. Honestly, me using Neocities is kind of an example of this.
